But based on the evidence stacked against the 17-year-old, homicide detective Chad Bruning (Bruce Boxleitner) feels differently. Sandra, willing to stop at nothing to prove her son’s innocence, begins to uncover a web of lies and deceit that could put her own life in danger.
NotesI was actually in South Korea when I received the call from the producers that they wanted to hire me to write this project. The first conference calls regarding the project happened from my hotel room at Lotte World in Seoul.
Originally, Bruce Boxleitner was going to play the role of David Jamison, but when he read the script, he liked the role of the detective better and asked if he could have that part instead. Thrilled that Boxleitner was willing to commit to the additional days on set in order to play the larger role, the producers said yes.
Bruce Boxleitner's character "Detective Chad Bruning" is named after my cousin who lives in Missouri.
